I Really Want a Wall Bed/Murphy Bed, But I Have This Problem…

Wall Beds are an awesome concept.  They are space-saving, easy to use, and look great in your home. 

But sometimes there may not be enough installation space - or if there is space on one wall to install the bed, there may not be enough space in that room to open up the bed.  And sometimes, there is some other reason not to bolt a big structure to your wall - perhaps because of a potential future move or other reason…

We designed the Xtrabed™ Mobile WallBed to solve the challenges that some people have with installing a Wall Bed or Murphy Bed (basically the same thing) in their home.

Challenge #1: What if I don’t want to install a bed into my wall?

The Mobile WallBed comes out of the box completely assembled with no installation required - so you do not have to worry about installing anything!

Challenge #2: What if I don’t have a wall that is big enough to install a Wall Bed?

The Mobile WallBed looks like a beautiful chest of doors and takes up a much smaller space than a conventional wall bed.  The Xtrabed™ is only 43”tall for full size, or 46” tall for queen size, instead of a wall bed that is 80+ inches tall.

Challenge #3: What if I have a big enough wall to install a Wall Bed, but I don’t have enough space in the room to open it?

Because you can roll the Mobile WallBed from room-to-room, you don’t have to worry about a room designation.  You could keep it in your den or office and then roll it out to the living room when you need to open it up. 

Challenge #4: What if I ever want to move?

Unlike a conventional Wall Bed, if you decide to move the bed to another location (vacation home, college dorm, new house, etc.,) you don’t have to worry about unbolting it from a wall, disassembling all the parts, and then reassembling and installing at a new location.  With the Xtrabed™ Mobile WallBed, you simply treat it like a large piece of furniture - just put it in the moving van and go!
